Hi, my name is Laudina D and I am a female home carer with experience in providing hourly care. I have always been passionate about helping others and ensuring they lead independent lives, which is why I chose a career in caregiving.
I have extensive experience in caring for individuals with various conditions such as Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression. I am skilled in assisting with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and catheter care. Additionally, I believe in the power of companionship and ensuring that my clients feel supported and valued.
One of the aspects that sets me apart is my ability to drive, as well as having my own car. This allows me to easily travel to different locations, ensuring I can reach my clients in a timely and efficient manner. It also allows me to help with errands and transportation needs.
Outside of work, I enjoy indulging in my hobbies, which include painting, walking, dancing, cooking and baking, as well as watching TV. These activities help me unwind and recharge, allowing me to provide the best possible care for my clients.
I also have a soft spot for animals and am comfortable with pets. Whether it be cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, or birds, I am prepared to assist with their care as well.
My attributes of being caring, friendly, and helpful ensure that the people I care for have a positive experience. Seeing the smiles on their faces and knowing that I am making a difference in their lives brings me immense satisfaction and serves as my motivation to continue in this line of work.
